Activating Our Christianity

Activating Our Christianity
This is not the news from this week: “..injustice, wrongdoing, destruction, violence, strife, and conflict, the law is paralyzed, justice never prevails, justice is perverted…” - Taken from Habakkuk 1:3,4

Activating Our Christianity
Our confused and misguided world is in need of guidance toward restoration. In order for that to happen there must be people ready, willing, and able to live, testify, witness, and teach by precept and example
4
Activating Our Christianity
How do we do this! We have to be willing to go from MEMBERSHIP to DISCIPLESHIP

Activating Our Christianity
We should not presume to know everything, but we must be willing to share what we do know concerning: Salvation, Baptism, Assurance of Salvation, Membership in Church, Christian Maturity, Commitment to Church Vocations, what do you wonder about? Do I know what stewardship is? Am I a “Good” Steward?

Salvation Have you come to a place in your life that you know for certain that you have eternal life with God (Jehovah, Elohim, El Shaddai, etc…). Suppose you were standing before God right now and he asked you, ‘why should I let you into my heaven?’ What would you say?

Our Need As we search for meaning in life, we discover that our sinful nature keeps up from fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives… We are all sinners by nature( we are born into sin) and by choice – Romans 3:23 We can not work our way to salvation! – Ephesians 2:9

Our Response The only way Jesus can affect our lives is for us to receive Him – John 1:12 We must repent of our sin – Act 3:19 Repentance is not just feeling sorry for your sin – Acts 26:20 Repentance is admitting to God that you are/were wrong, turning away from the sin and returning to God.
