The traditional activity of a hand held book & reading it.
Story nights/ story times/etc.
Students have their own reasons to dislike reading…

4. So how do we incorporate the “traditional” with the “new” way?
How do we engage our students with a new topic or a theme?
How do we reach the students who are quiet and hardly participate?
How do we integrate what our students know and what we want them to know?
How do we meet halfway so everyone benefits?

The use of all sorts of technology;
images, audio, videos, etc.
A new way of telling a story.
An authentic/original story.
Today everything is going digital
and keeping up is hard sometimes.

Students to learn more about a topic, do a project or prepare an original project.
