What does it look like to take care of the earth and God’s creation? What is a problem that is causing damage to God’s creation and what are ways we can fix it? How do my actions affect those around me, including the community?

Identify characteristics of living and non-living things Understand the process of conducting experiments Scholars will… Science T R E A M Create t-charts about the characteristics of living and non-living things Conduct an experiment about what living things need to survive. They will plant seeds and each group will be responsible for watering their plant with various liquids and observing how their plant grows

4 Objective Scholars will… S Technology R E A M
Practice typing correctly Produce a physical copy of each student’s written work for them to keep S Technology R E A M Scholars will… Type and print their written “How To” book (see Arts for explanation of How To book)

Understand the responsibility given to us by God as caretakers of the world and God’s creation Explain how one’s actions affect those around them S T Religion E A M Scholars will… Work in groups to act out ways they can help take care of God’s creation Participate in a service project to take care of God’s creation Ex: writing cards to our community service workers
