1 Tying the Ribbons Students will use a diorama to create a summary of the plot of “Ribbons.” Follow the directions below to complete the activity. Read “Ribbons” in the text.book Prentice Hall Literature 7. Log into a desk computer or laptop. Open Internet Explorer and allow the CPSB homepage to load. At the top of the CPSB homepage, click on visit a school. Scroll down until you see W. W. Lewis and click go. Once the homepage loads, click on faculty from the top menu and find Anne. Farrar. Click on the Website link next to the name. Right click on the Diorama link and save to desktop. Double click to open the Diorama. Go back to the Lewis site, and click on the Library link from the menu on the left side of the paper. On the Library site, scroll to the very bottom to find the Miscellaneous Research Sites. Choose Nettrekker, World Book Encyclopedia Online, or one of the sites on the Gale Group link to find an image you can copy that will represent the story “Ribbons.” Go back to the diorama. Where the picture is on the diorama, you need to paste the picture you chose. In the box at the bottom, you will type the summary of the story. Print the Diorama after you’ve completed the objective summary. Cut out the parts with the red circle through it. Cut on the dotted lines and glue the flaps. Put your first and last name on the bottom of the diorama. This task uses: Nettrkker, World Book online, or Gale Group database. Diorama Powerpoint.
