1 Session Sponsorship Request Procedure
Step 2 Community reviews proposal and responds to speaker (yes or no to request). Community keeps track of proposals, both those you agreed to sponsor and those you declined to sponsor, so they can be verified at a later date. Step 3 Community reminds speakers they still need to submit their proposal to the PDC Committee via the standard “Safety 2018 Call for Presenters” online. Step 4 Verification Communities will be asked to verify sponsorships several weeks after the speakers have submitted their proposals but before the PDC Committee Reviews them. New this year: Session descriptions will be provided on the spreadsheet during the verification process. Step 1 speaker sends request to CoPS Community. New this year: Hot links will be provided to speakers for all community Admins and PD Chairs. (Ass’t Admins’ s will be included if there is no PD Chair identified for the community.
