1 Groups for Perspective Presentations
Take out one sheet of paper. I will be assigning you a topic for our presentations this week. BRING YOUR CHROME BOOKS TO CLASS ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY FOR GROUPWORK!

2 Presentations on Perspectives
Assignment: Bring research about your topic to class tomorrow. You need to print it out or show me 12 facts written out because I need to stamp it for your work packet. Research must include: detailed explanation of the perspective, key people, and at least two examples of the perspective. You will create a 5-7 minute lesson on the perspective to teach your classmates. Make a powerpoint or prezi. You will have two class periods to work together to create the presentation. Presentations start on Friday.

4 I updated the gradebook and it seems that the sub collected the syllabus for some classes but not all. If you still have your signed syllabus, please pass it up now.

5 Chapter 1 Your Favorite Quote: Pass up your favorite quote. You must have your name on it and you must have completed the paragraph on the back.

6 Chapter 1 Works Cited: Take out your 12 facts from yesterday. If you completed the Works Cited – actually should be titled “References”, please line up by my desk with both the facts and your References Page (Works Cited) so I can stamp your facts.

Chapter 1 A word about APA Formatting and References Page (Works Cited) Please use the resources, especially the links to OWL at Purdue and Knight Cite on our Fusion Page to learn how to do a proper References Page in APA format. There may be a question on your quiz about proper APA formatting.

8 Presentation Requirements
Chapter 1 Presentation Requirements You will create a 5-7 minute lesson (groups usually go over a few minutes – no more than 10 minutes!) Include: detailed explanation of the perspective, key people, key experiments, and at least two examples of the perspective. Each group member has to contribute and present. Your last slide must be a APA formatted References page (Works Cited) Presentations start on Friday.
