Summer Holiday Today was the first day of the summer holiday. Mathew and I went to the park. I asked him what he wanted to play on first. We played on the slide first. Then, we played on the swings. We were not the first kids at the park. Ava and Thomas were the first kids to play on the swings. Mathew and I played at the park all day. Ava and Thomas were first to leave the park. Then, we went home. We had a lot of fun on the first day of the summer holiday. Materials: Print out this slide and give a pencil to each student. Fold the paper into a tri-fold book. Directions: Teacher/assistant and students will track and read the high-frequency words. Then, students will trace the words.
