Its January 1892
Thank you so much for hosting us in Poland it was awesome to see you again now since I'm back I and writing this letter to you. Canada has just elected a brand new Prime Minister by the name of Wilfred Laurier he seems like a good Prime Minister for now but who knows what will happen. The Indians are still living in there reserves and I kind of feel bad for them because the land was not cared for my the settlers. Just a year ago the Prime Minister McDonald died right after the election. Wilfred Laurier has continued to expand his settlement west just like McDonald and he continued and built the railway the year I left for Poland. We are surviving so far but my wife is just a little sick but the doctor said she will be Ok by the end of next week.
I am really trying to write as often as possible but I am working long hours with the NWMP.

More and more people area arriving in Canada and it’s a wide variety there are lots of Asians Indians form south east Asia. Allot of the Asians came here to help build the railway it was a frantic search for help by them they wanted to work anywhere from a mine to the most dangerous jobs with the railway. There were risking it all. Just watching these people Mamusiu its just frightening to see these foreign people working for there lives. I asked one of them why he was here he tried to speak English but I could barely understand him he said that there was not opportunity for a job in China so he come here. Now on the political side of things the Prime Minister Wilfred Laurier has hired a new man by the name of Clifford Sifton. Right now he is helping Laurier in his quest to increase the population of the west he had put advertisements in over 6000 American Newspapers advertising cheap land in Canada.
I will Write to you with an update on how our settlement is going.

6. Dear Mama
In May
Its working the advertisement of free land is working but there is a bad side the people have to live on the land for 3 years before it can be claimed as there's. allot of people had came from US because of the advertisement in the newspapers that the Prime Minister had put in. This does not affect us as a family. My Son Marius just got a job at the NWMP so me and him are working the same job but I am thinking of retiring soon because this job is too stressful for an older guy. Form the last letter you guys have sent back I heard that you and dad are suffering I am very sorry and I wish I could come to you guys to help you out but I'm stuck here in Canada because of work and this is very frustrating. I really hope you guys feel better. I am also very proud of my son Marius because he became a member of the NWMP and he is also getting money to support the family. The government 4 years ago had put in a new act called the Continuous passage act this meant anyone traveling from a foreign country can not make stops in between traveling this would allow the Canadian government to deny access to the boat and travelers.

8. Dear Wujek Piotrek
Its April
I am writing this letter to you to see if you can help me. I am temporarily suffering from depression after the death of my mom and dad it was confirmed that they had died from small pox. This has affected my family and my job luckily my wife she is very supportive of me and is trying to help me every step of the way. To ad to that we just had an incident called that Komagata Maru a Japanese steam ship that was denied entry into Canada because it made a stop and then there was a confrontation between the police and the troops near Kolkata when they were returning to India. This was a very stress full for the settlers because to see our us fighting against each other. And it made me feel very unsafe with me working at the NWMP and its not as easy to settle down with so many events happening. And Canada has declared world war 1 has started and I am scared for my life of any attacks.
Will write back when everything settles.
