Ask the applicant: Are you interested in obtaining a job? Are you available for work? Are you interested in going back to your home area? If meets Manpower criteria, ask if they are interested in working with Manpower (provide Manpower Fact Sheet) Fill out the Pre-registration Form Fax completed form to local Manpower branch (If appropriate for placement, Manpower will schedule an interview within three days) Upon satisfactory completion of assessment, Manpower provides Career Passport Working Your Way Back Home: Mississippi-Manpower Partnership

26 Making the Referral What Kind of Candidates Are Appropriate for Manpower Referral? Just 6 Requirements! Legal to Work: Does the candidate meet legal requirements to work in the United States? Reliability: Do they express an interest in working? Are they available to start work immediately? Has the candidate shown up as scheduled? Do they have a good work history? Following Instructions: Has the candidate followed the application processes as instructed, including filling out paperwork and operating the computer?
