Use alphabet cards to introduce letter sounds You can download alphabet cards from our website! Make sure that you are modeling each sound correctly, and that your child is saying it the same way back to you. See the sound guide on the next page for any clarifications. B b B makes the /buh/ sound

Activities to Teach Letter-Sound Correspondence
Make an alphabet book! Fold paper and staple to make a flip book (or download ours from our website!) Write a letter on each page. Have your child draw pictures of things that start with that letter. Activities to Teach Letter-Sound Correspondence
Beginning Sound Match-Up! Print (and laminate if you want it to last longer) cards for a matching game. Half of the cards will have a letter on them, the other half will have a picture that matches to a sound. Have your child spread out the cards and match the picture cards with the correct letter sound. a
