2 NSP Online Course Management
For Instructors Chris Fraser September 2017

3 Instructors Resources

4 Course Tools

5 Tool Tabs If you are already an IOR for a course, it should be listed in the first tab – no records, you’re not listed as IOR for any course in NSP Each tab has a set of explanations and instructions/guides that explain how to use it. Read them before executing actions. Pay close attention to notes. [Following this simple process will credit the students who take the course and provide NSP education records (for Divisions, Regions, Patrols, IORs, ITs, other instructors as well as the students.]

6 Registering a Course To start a course use “Register a Course”
Gather the require information before registering a course: Know the course type; select the best start and stop dates; know what IT will support this course (the red “*” are required, but it is a good idea to get additional information into this registration: your Patrol name; Specific location; City; Instructors, State, and notes as appropriate) Once you save and close NSP will generate a number and the new course will be on your other tabs. At the end of a course, Remember to add “Enrollment” data before closing the course Keep your data up-to-date and close-out the course when appropriate If no one wants to take your course, then cancel it … [ITs will be hunting for you, after National, Division, Region, hunts them down]
