Font Issues Times vs Times Roman vs Times New RomanPSMT – different names on different platforms The templates state specific font names, but in Word it is difficult for authors to control what fonts are installed and, therefore, what fonts are available to them Do we need to worry about specific fonts any longer?

U.S. English vs British English
Of course there are spelling differences between U.S. and British English. Although I didn’t see any of these differences in the templates, we ignore these in the actual papers. During the last round of template updates, we noted a punctuation inconsistency between the two versions of English in the references: The Brits punctuate it (as in the A4 templates): “Paper Title”, November 2005. While us Yanks write it (as in the US Letter templates): “Paper Title,” November 2005. Is this a problem? Or can we ignore it as we do the different spellings? We already have A4 and US Letter templates, which are essentially equivalent to British and American versions.
