2. For somebody visiting Bommanahalli in Bangalore for the first time might seem a little congested and chaotic. But this small neighbourhood next to Hosur Road NH7 is an important boarding point as it is strategically located.
 Some of the important city centres close to this locality are BTM Layout (3 km), Madiwala (4.3 km), Koramangala (6 km), Electronics City (10 km), MG Road (10.9 km), Majestic (13.7 km), and Bangalore railway station (15 km).

3. People catching a flight will have to travel about 45 km to reach Bangalore International Airport. 
But with the BMTC Volvo buses plying regularly from HSR Layout (4 km from here), you will reach your destination in an hour or so by paying just Rs 220.
Cabs and autorickshaws are also available from here, but you will have to shell out at least Rs 600-Rs 700.

4. This neighbourhood is rapidly growing into an industrial hub and several top firms like Tech Mahindra, Bosch and Fujitsu Consulting India have offices in the area. 

5.  For residents as well as those waiting to board their buses can quickly go for a grab at Faaso’s, Ammi’s Biryani, Chai Point, Tharavadu Family Restaurant, Pizza Hut and Mirch Masala.
And if you are looking for a fine dining place to enjoy a relaxed meal, then Spice It, Janani and Chilly’s are the places for you.
Being a small neighborhood, you will not find any malls or multiplexes here. So, for entertainment and shopping, Koramangla is the best place as it is only 6 km away.

6. Narayana Hrudayalaya Foundation and Prashanth Nursing Home in the locality are the places to go to in case of emergencies.
Autorickshaws are available to commute within and outside the locality.
However, always insist on using the meter whenever you board an auto. The minimum fare will be Rs 25.

7. In terms of entertainment, this place might not have much option, but it definitely sets it apart from other localities when it comes to tourist attractions.

8. The Naganatheshwara temple (2 km from the main locality), which is 1,100 years old attracts a huge crowd during Shivaratri in February and Bramha Rathotsava, the car festival, in April.

Catching a bus from here is very convenient as BMTC buses ply regularly from Indiranagar, Koramangala, Majestic and Shivaji Nagar. Private operators like Kallada Travels ,Paulo Travels,Patel Travels and SRS Travels also run their buses to and fro this locality..
