Attendance and punctuality
Doors open at 8:40am School starts at 8:50am After 8:50 children come through office as late Persistent lateness – receive letter No improvement meeting with Head Holidays not authorised

Prayer Bags Bring home in rotation
Friday to return following Wednesday Share with family; learn about class saint Contents Notebook – write a prayer, add comments, ask for prayers

Life after 11+/transfer test
The children still need to complete the Year 6 curriculum and will be assessed in two ways: SATs – scaled score to reach (100) (110 greater depth) Teacher assessment (see pack) (Met or have not met in Reading and Maths, working towards, working at, working at greater depth in writing)

Boosters Written arithmetic – Monday
Mrs Colley and Miss Eaves team teaching and interventions – Tuesday and Wednesday Potentially Easter booster Potentially early morning booster sessions leading up to SATs

PE P.E sessions take place on Monday and Wednesday
PE Kits must be worn, children will not take part if they do not have the right clothing or footwear. Trainers needed for Trim Trail and outdoor PE.

Medicine Inhalers- named/in date Allergies-medical form
Parental supervision for medicines such as antibiotics that need to be taken in school hours. Head injury – phone call Head Lice – tie back long hair. Inform office.

Uniform Plain waterproof/warm coat (black or blue)
No jewellery including earrings Sensible watch (test conditions – no bleeping) School shoes – no trainers please, only lace, Velcro or slip-ons. Names on items

Homework Either weekly tasks (Monday-Friday) and/or project based…
Please help your child to ensure their homework is: On time Unless specified, takes no more than ½ hour per night. If your child is taking longer than this on a regular basis or having problems with homework, please let us know. We will inform you if homework is regularly missing or below expectation. Spelling test - Friday Times tables – Friday

Extra three spellings from 5/6 statutory list Tested on a Friday Spellings highlighted in planner which need to be revisited.

Medical information Consent – photos General consent for local visits Take home, sign/fill in and return to school next week.

Catholic Ethos Prayers to learn Assemblies – rota Friday 2:30pm
Mass – rota is on the website Encourage respect through rules, RE teaching and manner
