1. Summer Term Homework Project
This half term we would like you to become games designers!
We have played many different games that use cards, boards, dice and numbers but have yet to find one that has the perfect blend of excitement, imagination, fun and thinking!
We would like you to design your own game. You have to get some maths in somewhere… it might be counting, shapes, time, probability (betting?), patterns, logic, measuring, adding etc
It could be for any age group- you choose. It could be played indoors or outdoors.
You could create a board game or a new game involving cards or dice. It might rules for a game outside involving time or measuring distances.
You could make a plan of something to be chalked onto the ground and some rules for the game.
Be as creative as you can and be ready to share them on the afternoon of Friday 12th June when the whole school will have a games afternoon. We will also be having an evening to share games and ideas with parents on the 11th June between 5.30 and We would like to create a library of maths games that you could borrow and your games could be part of that library!
