4. “Emerging” national economies are countries in the “South,” which have high rates of economic growth, as measured by capitalist indexes.
Of the 32 emerging economies, China, India, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Russia are the newest “emerging” economies.
Other already emerging economies are
South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore.
