Please support your 2012 – 2013 Post Officers. They need your help also. I’ve been your Commander for the last 2 years. It’s been rocky but we managed to get, through donations, the Sign out front replaced and just recently we got new canvas on the front awning, thanks to the Riders donation. We are finally in the black again, making more than we are spending. On the sad note, we had 16 members pass away this year. Your new Commander has asked me to be his Adjutant next year and I have agreed to help him. I’m also the 1st Vice, so, like the other Past Commanders of the Post, I will still be here supporting the American Legion and Post I hope you will too. Thank you for your support of me these last two years. Please support the Lounge, Post, Auxiliary, SAL and Riders. For God and Country Jimmy Lee Martin New Post Officers Commander – Mike Holdener 1st Vice – Jimmy Martin 2nd Vice – vacant 3rd Vice – Jake Taffaro Sgt-at-Arms – John Sego Chaplain – Stu Baker Historian – Chuck Krahn Finance Officer – John Edens House Committee – Hal Eyerly, John Frenzel, Bill Eastman & Jim Fournier Installation will be held 1st Vice Commander –We are finishing up the year with our membership around 90% . Not exactly the objective or the expectations, but hopefully we can bounce back next year. On May 28 lets all please remember all of those brave vets who went before we did so we can enjoy the fruits of this great country. Congratulations to all the officers that were voted in for the upcoming year. Because of various reasons, some mine some not, I opted not to run for anything this year. Let me say this though. It has been fun and enriching to serve what I believe to be the best Commanders we have had in a while. Thanks Hal, Marsha, Jimmy Lee for all the backing and lessons that have allowed to grow into a better person not only for our Legionnaires but our Veterans. Good luck to all in the coming year. For God and Country.....Mouse SAL: Your SAL membership is 100%. Elections for the SAL Officers were held on Thursday May 8 at 6:30PM. Commander: Brian Nichols, 1st Vice Commander: Leslie Baker. Sgt-at-Arms: Hayden Ray, Adjutant/Finance: Jimmy Lee Martin. We now have new Officers, please get involved and come out to the SAL meetings that were voted on and changed to the First Sunday of the Month at 9:00AM. I would like to thank all of those who helped out with the various events we did throughout the year. We started out on a down but ended with a high. We gave the post another donation in the amount of $ Remember they are the reason why we are here. Congratulations and good luck to the new officers. Legion Riders, We held elections at our last meeting and all offices are filled. Congratulations to all our new Officers. Our next ALR meeting will be on June 11th at 10:00 am, please attend. We need all Riders to come help prepare for our big ride in July. Now is the time to be thinking about renewing your dues for All Officers will have to have their Post and Rider dues paid prior to being sworn into office. Bingo: Bingo has slowed down a lot. I didn’t turn over any money as we lost money for April. Due to the fact that the Post July 4th Open House is on a Bingo night, I have decided to CANCEL Post Bingo on July 4th. Jimmy Lee Martin Chairman
