My Pokémon In this part of the project you will research the Pokémon you’ve been given and will create a PowerPoint Presentation based on your finding. Later we will combine all of your presentations and create an encyclopedia of Pokémon for other people to use.

Name Every Pokémon has a name. Find out the name of your Pokémon. Search the net. I have to warn you that there are over 700 of them at the moment and there is a new game coming out in November. You better do it quickly.

Picture Take a picture of your actual Pokémon (the toy you have). Make it interesting, choose an unusual place for the Pokémon.

Find a picture of your Pokémon on the net. Is your toy an accurate copy of the real thing? What’s different? Example: This is Vaporeon. Compare the two pictures. - My toy has no mouth. It has different colored ears. -Their backs are different colors.

Every Pokémon is based on something. Sometimes it’s easy to guess. Sometimes you have to search for the answer. Pikachu is based on the animal called pika. Although it looks like a mouse, it actually is a type of rabbit.

Size and First Appearance
Size: 0.4 meters. As you can see, Pikachu is a very small Pokémon but some Pokémon can be as large as 14.5 meters. First appearance: The Pokémon games are divided into different generations. Each new generation introduces new Pokémon into the mix. Pikachu first appeared in Generation I, and is the face of the entire franchise. This is the one Pokémon that everybody knows. Your mission is to get people familiar with other Pokémon. These Pokémon deserve to be known as well.
