2- Trough = Lowest point of wave
3- Amplitude = Distance from dash line to crest or trough, it tells how much energy a wave has. More height more energy.
4- Wavelength = distance from crest to crest or trough to trough.

7. 5- Frequency: The number of waves that pass a point in a certain amount of time. The unit is Hertz (Hz) One wave per second

8. II- Wave Motion:
A- Transverse Waves: Cause matter to move perpendicularly to the waves direction (Up & Down)

9. B- Compressional Waves: Causes. matter to move parallel to the waves

1-Rarefaction: when a compressional wave spread apart = Trough
