Recommendations to presenter: Review and have on hand the Council and Unit implementation plan located at Do the same with the Frequently asked Questions doc and the Unit and District evaluation forms for A strong familiarity with the 2005/2006 Quality Unit requirements for the unit types that you will be presenting to (Packs, Troops, Teams, Crews, and/or Ships) is also recommended.

National Strategic Plan
Every eligible youth has an opportunity to be involved in a quality Scouting experience Every local council is fiscally sound The number of volunteers is dramatically increased at all levels of Scouting Chartered organizations and strategic alliances are identified and engaged Enough professionals are identified, developed, and retained at all levels Every eligible youth has an opportunity to be involved in a quality Scouting experience Every local council is fiscally sound. The number of engaged, accountable volunteers is dramatically increased at all levels of Scouting. Local, regional, and national chartered organizations and strategic alliances are identified and engaged. Enough of the right professionals are identified, developed, and retained in the right positions at all levels, with a focus on diversity.

Time-line November – Share program in Roundtables
Nov 15 – Feb 15, 2007 – Commissioners meet with units to secure commitments. Feb 15, 2007 – commitment forms due at office Oct 31, 2007 – Dec 31, 2007 – Units review accomplishments towards Quality Unit award.
