What is the process for calculating the volume of an object with two identical bases?

There is a formula that explains it (woohoo!)

4. Volume Formula for Two Base Shapes
Volume = Area of Base shape times the number of layers (Height of figure)
V = B · H

6. Movie Time I will be hosting movie night with my nieces and nephews.
We always do a craft before the movie and I want the kids to make personalized popcorn containers this time.
I’m planning to give them one sheet of thick paper to roll into a cylinder and then cover the bottom with plastic wrap so they can fill it with popcorn.
I know Izzy is going to ask me which way to roll the paper so that it holds the most popcorn possible.
Help!
