TIME TO GET YOUR GEARS TURNING Industrialization- The growth of industries (businesses and factories) Industrial Revolution- A time period where machines replaced manual labor. A CHANGE IN INDUSTRY Mechanization- the process of changing from working largely or exclusively by hand or with animals to doing that work with machinery.

7 Replica Project Step 1: Build a replica of something that was invented during the industrial revolution (1820 to 1900). It must be a replica of a mechanized item or a system with moving parts. YOU CANNOT BRING GUNS and THIS WILL BE DONE INDIVIDUALLY!

8 Replica Project Step 2: Type an explanation of how you made the replica. This explanation must have a minimum of 300 words. Along with your explanation you will include: The name of your invention Who invented it What was it used for When it was created
