Case Mitch Finley(29), has a degree in finance.
Experienced in banking and consulting financial planning. He opened “The Suite Thing”. Development company- construction of two large hotel like buildings, containing suites.

Case Finley was not satisfied with the brochure his architects put together. He had collected other company brochures that he liked and decided to call an advertising firm He hired an advertising firm for designing Logo and Brochure for his company.

Case The advertising representative was very new on the job.
He then asked a few general questions. Rep said he would return within 1 week. Two and a half weeks later, Finley called advertising agency. The rep came by later that afternoon with his idea.

Case The agency came up with the theme of “Beat the Hotel Game with the Suite Thing” Finley was frustrated by the response delay and the inconsistency. Rep being frustrated reminded him of time constraints And asked for what Finley wants really.

Case Finley said he does not see hotel as competitors.
He wanted to use soft sell method. The next day the rep come up with a more conservative, soft sell piece. Finley cannot understand why he did not get what he wanted the first time.
