Surface Preparation The Surface Must be Clean, Sound, Dry, and Free of any Materials That Would Inhibit Proper Adhesion of the Liquid Flashing Material To Achieve a Suitable Surface Prior to the Application of the Liquid Flashing Material, the use of INDUSTRIAL CLEANER, Scraping, Grinding Wheels, Wire Brushes or Other Means May be Required Cleaning Should Always be Performed Observing Responsible Trade Practices For Best Results, it is Recommended That Surfaces Such as Metals Should be Abraded

Tuff-Flash Application Layers
Prepare the Substrate to Receive the Tuff-Flash System Wipe Metal Surfaces with Isopropyl Alcohol Seal Gaps in Modified with Green-Lock® Structural Adhesive Apply Tuff-Flash at 2 gal./sq. (32 Wet Mils) Roll in Grip Polyester® Firm Apply Tuff-Flash at 3-4 gal./sq. (48-64 Wet Mils) Apply Reflective Coating or Minerals Surfacing (ie. minerals, reflective coating) Grip Polyester Firm Tuff-Flash Liquid Flashing Mineral Cap Sheet

Application Rates Tuff-Flash Flashing System Apply 2 gal./sq. (32 wet mils) onto the Prepared Substrate Inside the Marked Area Embed Grip Polyester Firm into the wet Base Coat 2” in from Perimeter of the Mastic Apply Another 3-4 gal./sq. (48-64 wet mils) over the Fabric, Extending the Mastic to 2” Past the Fabric
