3. Components Take notes!! TAGD + verb + thesis
Rhetorical method: 2-4 devices and/or patterns of development AND their effects
Purpose (why does the author’s thesis matter? Kairos)
Audience(s) + author’s position within audience + tone(s)

Become an expert in that component for your text
Read, discuss, pre-write, and create a poster
Title your poster with your component
