£3.6M via Welsh Government Substance Misuse Action Funding (SMAF). £721K via partner joint contributions (ABMU, Bridgend CBC, Neath Port Talbot CBC and the City & County of Swansea). Total Revenue Budget £4.3m Also SMAF Capital budget for Wales (£5m).

23,980 Referrals for Substance Misuse Services Reduction of 14.6% against 2014/15 figures 52.1% - Alcohol Referrals 43.7% Drugs Referrals Males – Account for 62.8% of Alcohol Referrals and 71.8% of Drug Referrals. 9,654 Referrals for Alcohol 8,093 Referrals for Drugs (Heroin, 3,400; Cannabis 1,943) (Source: Treatment Data – Substance Misuse in Wales 15/16)

Community Drug and Alcohol Team, Tonna Hospital. Home and inpatient detox; maintenance prescribing, shared care, relapse prevention, psychology, social work and midwife support. Detox Ward (Calon Lan, Neath Port Talbot Hospital). Providing a 5 bed residential detox service for Western Bay, therapies, diversionary activities and relapse prevention. NPT FORUM – Service user support group.

Roadshows at all Secondary Schools – New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) Diversionary activities during school term breaks Seizure of NPS products. Test purchasing exercises Community Alcohol Partnership (Pontardawe) to tackle underage sales and anti-social behaviour.
