7. Do you know anything about the Monkees?
It is a band that was popular in the 1960s in America. It was dismissed in 1970 and was regrouped in the middle of the 1980s. Now it is still popular in the world today.
The Monkees was a pop singing quartet in Los Angeles. The band's four members are drummer Micky Dolenz, bassist Peter Tork, guitarist Michael Nesmith and lead vocal Davy Jones.

Furthermore, it didn’t follow the usual way to be successful as the other bands.
In addition, it was not formed by the members themselves but by TV organizers and they were not like a band at first, because they played jokes as well as played music.
