Application procedure
English proficiency test Interested students must have excellent English language skills in order to take part in the exchange program. Therefore an English proficiency test (written test+interview) will be held in beginning of March for the fall semester, and the middle of September for the spring semester (exact date will be announced). All interested students are invited to take part in the test. Based on the test results, qualified students will be selected who can then start the application process. Students in the last semester of their study are not eligible for participation in the exam.

Submission procedure The forms must be submitted at the office of the program coordinator (Dr. 邱彥婷) T: ext. 4223 The submission deadline for fall semester (September-January) is 1. April. spring semester (February-June): 1. October

Selection & notification The final selection and nomination of exchange students is based on 2 criteria: English language proficiency Available study places If necessary the academic performance (grade point average) will also be referred to. The nominated exchange students will be announced by FH Joanneum shortly after the submission deadline. Further issues Once the exchange students have been nominated, they can at this point: Apply for student visa at Austrian Embassy in Taipei Check availability of accommodation in Austria Check available financial support from school

Application procedure
Q&A session In order to help students prepare for their life abroad, there will be a Q&A session with the program coordinator prior to the students’ departure. The session will be held in end of December (for the spring semester) and in end of June (for the fall semester). The exact dates will be announced. Apart from Q&A session, there will be an introductory seminar every year in September (orientation for new incoming students) to introduce the exchange program and exchange possibilities to interested students.
