Confucius’ philosophy was based on ren (the principle of acting with love and kindness ) and li (acting according to custom and ceremony when with other people in order to show respect and kindness).

Anton Makarenko’s believed that physical labour and discipline were important in education. His theories were based on the idea that work result in discipline which is good for the school and benefits the individual.

Anne Sullivan became almost blind when she was 5 years old
Anne Sullivan became almost blind when she was 5 years old. She was a student at the Perkins Institute for the Blind. She became Helen Keller’s teacher at the age of 20. Anne Sullivan worked with Helen Keller for 49 years, and attended college with her to translate the lectures into her hands. Helen Keller graduated from Radcliffe College and went on to become a famous speaker and author throughout the world.
