Our Mission Statement WorkingRite helps year olds who need support into sustained employment, apprenticeships or purposeful learning. We do this through individually matched work placements with local employers. Made possible in Arden, Darnley and Cartloch by….

Scottish Government funding from the People and Communities Fund
Support from staff and Board Links to the local community Providing office and training space Financial support, introductions, time and commitment Scottish Government funding from the People and Communities Fund

Our programme Bespoke matching. Our Project Co-ordinators assess each young person in order to understand their interests, abilities and aspirations. They then approach businesses in the local community to find the perfect placement employer to suit each trainee. On-the-job training. Trainees spend up to six months with their placement employer, learning skills from their elders in a real work environment.

Our programme Workplace mentoring. Each trainee is designated a mentor in the workplace to ensure one-to-one attention and teaching. Our young people are also supported by their WorkingRite Project Co-ordinator who regularly visits, calls and conducts reviews to make sure they are happy and progressing well. Extras. WorkingRite trainees are paid a weekly training allowance, receive travel expenses and are given any protective clothing or equipment they need for their role.
