Who is eligible? Pre-Nursing students Finishing pre-requisites by: End of Spring 2017 semester End of Summer I 2017 semester Brenda to go over application momentarily

2.7 GPA in Nursing pre-requisite classes 2.5 GPA in all IUS classes Must meet these criteria by the time pre-requisites are complete End of Spring 2017 semester End of Summer I 2017Semester

Based on pre-req. courses, includes: Transfer credit Credit earned at IUS* The application system will calculate your Pre-Nursing GPA Previously listed courses (but not FYS) * FYS grade is not used in calculation

Printing an Unofficial Transcript
Sign in to One.IU.edu Choose Student Center (SIS) Click on My Academics & Grades Click on View My Advisement Report Three drop boxes will appear - enter the following: Institution: select your Institution (i.e. Southeast) Academic Program: select a program if you have more than one Report Type: select the AAR & Transcript option Click on Process Request Click on Expand All Be sure you are working on a computer with print capability so that you can print your transcript Make sure you can print from the computer you are using. You may only want to print the first 2 or 3 pages of the report. IT help desk in US can help

Student is not admitted to SON at this time Option 1: Reapply next year Take courses on BSN plan that are not “NURS” Begin a minor or certificate Ius.edu/academics If you decide to retake courses, know the repeat rules Option 2: Apply to other school for ASN Contact schools for requirements and deadlines Ivy Tech deadlines: Apr 1 (Fall) Sept 1 (Spring) Ivytech.edu/nursing Return to IUS for BSN (after ASN & NCLEX) Option 3: Select different career/different major at IUS Meet with career counselor in CDC Meet with advisor in new major Majors & Minors Fair February 9 & 10
