12 TIS-B Limitations If you have a panel mount you receive all traffic from radar sites TIS-B smart transmission, sends customized data packages to specific panel mount units Without a panel mount you will not see all traffic If you are within a 15 mile radius and +- 3,500 ft. you can parasite off the panel mount Portable see only air to air

13 ADS-B Summary Two frequencies Only “Out” is required
1090 for international and Class A 978 or UAT for GA, TIS-B and FIS-B advantages Only “Out” is required Rebate program available
