3. Set a Goal Feed the homeless with my church group
Take at least 4 hours
Cook food and make sandwiches and cookies
Serve the food at the shelter

4. Form a Plan Buy bottled water and food to make:
Fried rice
Salad
Cookies
Bring food supplies to teacher’s house
Peel shrimp, wash vegetables, chop sausage and vegetables
Make salad
Make tuna sandwiches
Cook sausage fried rice and shrimp fried rice
Stir cookie mixes (chocolate chip and snicker doodle) and bake cookies
Put food in car
Drive to Tent City/Nickelsville
Make an assembly line and serve food to people
Walk around and talk to residents

5. Act Bought the food Brought food to teacher’s house
Peeled the shrimp for the fried rice
Washed vegetables
Chopped vegetables
Made tuna sandwiches
Cooked fried rice
Made salad
Baked cookies
Drove to Nickelsville
Served food to homeless
Talked to residents

8. Follow-Up Everything worked out perfectly and went according to plan
It took 5 and a half hours, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
We were on time arriving there at 2 p.m.
Everyone liked the food
Clean up was fast
Felt good to help others and see their gratitude
Worked hard and had fun at the same time
