Is your daily routine making you bored? End the boredom today and make some waves in your current routine. The best way to add fun to your daily routine is to do something different – no matter how big or small. A regular slice of variety will help you stay interested in your daily activities. Is there something on your to-do list that you haven’t gotten to? Perhaps you have something you’ve been afraid to do? What if that risk ends up being something really great? Doing new things challenges us mentally and physically, and sparks a new interest in every day life. Taking a risk (within reason) may make us more open to accepting change, no matter where it comes from! App of the Month Coach.me Coach.me is a great app to help you stay more accountable while accomplishing goals and making waves. Coach.me will prompt you to set your own goals and track habits. You can set custom reminders for each goal. Coach.me will show your progress over a week or month, and celebrate your milestones along the way. Free for iOS, Android and Web. Try New Things: Food: Try new fruits like mangos, kiwis, or star fruit. Do you typically have plain eggs for breakfast? Upgrade to an omelet that includes peppers, mushrooms, sautéed spinach, hot sauce and mozzarella cheese. Surroundings: Make life more fun and interesting: shake up the layout of your living room, swap the couch with the recliner, move your kitchen table to a new angle, or switch up your house décor. Classes: The online world is filled with information/classes. A new yoga class or piano lessons could be right around the corner in your city. Be brave! Be Realistic. Make “waves” that are safe and realistic for your lifestyle. It is great to step outside of your comfort zone, but stay within reason. Ditch the “same old, same old” and make some waves in your everyday life. It will make you a better, happier person. Cookbook Corner Turn veggies into healthy, satisfying meals with Inspiralized!
