Arwen: Do I stay in middle earth while my family takes the last ships west to the undying lands. I will be in love with my hot kingly husband for about 80 years but then he will die and I will roam middle earth forever alone and mourning.
Aragorn: Do I break up with Arwen, in spite of my deep love so that she can be with her family. Also what if I fail? Then middle earth will be covered in Darkness and she will be stuck here alone in darkness. If I succeed we have 80 good years but eventually I will die. Also, I will be old and grey and yet she will remain forever young and beautiful. She should be with an Elven hunk.
What would you choose? Love with death, or immortality without love?
