4. Example: 4m + 8 = 10 Get rid of fraction by multiplying by -2 -2
4m = Subtract 8 from both sides
4m = Divide by 4 on both sides

6. Writing Multi-Step equations!
Example:
eight more than 5 times a number is negative 62
x = Subtract 8 from both sides
5x = Divide 5 from both sides

7. Example: Find 3 consecutive integers whose sum is 57:
x + (x + 1) + ( x + 2) = 57
3x = 57 Subtract 3 from both sides
3x = Divide 3 from both sides
x = 18
