1. Why does the great multitude of God’s people rejoice? (verses 1-3)
The Great Prostitute was condemned The blood of the martyrs was avenged God’s judgments are just 2. What do the elders and the living creatures say in response? They say “Amen” – Lets it be so “Halleluiah” – praise the Lord 3. What does the multitude say in response? They praise the Lord The Wedding of the lamb has come

4. What is the source of all truth?
Jesus 5. What makes us worthy of spending eternity with the Lord? The righteousness of Jesus which is pictured as white robes 6. What is our hope as we live in a world where Satan’s lies threaten to deceive us and our fellow believers? Our hope is in the words and works of Jesus on our behalf

Revelation 19:11-16 “His eyes were like blazing fire” (1:14).
God’s wisdom and omniscience “sharp, double-edged sword” (2:12) The Word of God that he uses to judge “rule them with an iron scepter” (2:27) Psalm 2:9 Christ will rule all forever “[Jesus’] new name” (3:12) A mystery, 1 Corinthians 13:12 – we will see him as he is

“faithful and true” (3:14)
Does what he says Loyal and the source of truth “trampled in the winepress of God’s wrath” (14:19,20) God’s judgment Isaiah 63:1-6 “His name is the Word of God” (19:13). John 1:1 – Jesus is the Word “A word is the image of the soul” “True and just are his judgments” (19:2). Remember that God’s judgments of and condemnation are fair King of kings and Lord of lords (19:12) Rules all things because he created all things

2. What impression does this section give us of Jesus?
He does not appear as a crucified humble servant, but the glorious victorious Lord of all 3. When we see the fulfillment of this vision, how are we going to feel about the fact that we remained faithful to Jesus? Everlasting joy – we are gonna love the ending

Revelation 19:17-21 1. Revelation speaks about a final onslaught of the forces of evil against the church. Yet the battle is a strange battle. Describe it on the basis of verses 19 and 20. The Lord arrives and defeats the enemies. The saints are not involved in the fight 2. When the Lord tells us that the beast and the false prophet were destroyed, he reminds us about what they did. What did they do to deserve this punishment? They deceived many whom God loves

3. How were the beasts’ followers killed?
They are destroyed with the sword that comes from Jesus’ mouth They are judged by the Word of God 4. What are we prompted to do in view of the horrible destruction of the two beasts? Hold on tightly to the Gospel of our Lord
