Bishop, an award winning biologist, explains the lifecycles of these insects in a simple, yet interesting manner. These fun facts about the butterflies’ habits and appearances can be proven because Bishop is an expert in this field and his credibility includes many other books about animals.
Rosa is a picture book biography of Rosa Parks which was one of the leaders of the peaceful civil rights movement of Giovanni is an award-winning writer that accurately retells the series of events in the life of Rosa Parks. The information provided depicts a historical event that Rosa started when she refused to give up her seat in a public bus and got arrested. Blacks started a peaceful protest that ended when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled segregation illegal.

The information is easy to find due to the table of contents, index, diagrams, pictures and captions provided. Besides informing in an organized form, this children’s book is fun to read due to the bird and the bee’s humoristic comments.

The illustrations in the form of collages and sketches show how the creation of these huge inflatable helium balloons have become an icon for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. This book combines accurate information, design and organization which models style.
Primates has a distinct, but friendly reading style for young readers. The lives of three female scientists and their respective research are interconnected by their love of science and also because they share a mentor. The accuracy coming from the individuality of each woman, the organization that shows how their lives share something in common through their love for animals and the comic strip design of this book demonstrates a good example of style.
