4. 1. Unwavering Proclamation
“You know how I lived” (v 18)
How he is characterized
Not hesitating to preach anything helpful.
Irrespective of difficulties, struggles, opposition.
Did not take responsibility for those who wouldn’t listen
Jesus said we don’t do that (Mark 6:11)
He preached to those who would listen (v 21)
Turn to God in repentance
Have faith in the Lord Jesus

5. 2. Total Obedience He walked right into trouble
He was told what would happen (Ac 21:10-14)
He did not follow everyone’s advice – he was discerning.
His goal: “Let the will of the Lord be done” (Ac 21:14)

6. 3. Overriding Motivation
Paul’s sense of urgency:
I am innocent of the blood of all (v 26)
Keith Green:
This generation of believers all over the world is responsible for this generation of souls.
Not convert people – he declared the Gospel
Even Jesus was not always successful (Mk 10:17-23)

7. 4. Dire Warning Shepherd’s responsibility for the “flock” (v 28)
“Savage wolves” will come
Some will come from within
The pressure to make the message more acceptable
Not shrink from declaring the whole counsel of God

8. 5. Right Attitude Not interested in other’s possessions or lifestyle
He did not covet (v 33-34)
He worked to supply his needs.
Committed to the Gospel and the work of God
No interest in what the world could provide

9. Living It Paul’s motivation:
Not passionate because he had Godly character
He was the worst of sinners (1 Tim 1:16)
He had a deep, intimate relationship with Jesus
No longer interested in what the world offers (Phil 3:7-9)
