4. What is WHAP?
AP World History (aka WHAP) is broken up into 6 Time Periods
Period 1-4 you covered last year in 9th Grade, so technically 60% of this class you already know (we will review all of it briefly)
New Thinking Skills and writing styles
New format for MC
SAQ’s
LEQ’s
DBQ’s (which are much different than Global)

8. Reading You need to read your book! Time Management!
Your book is essential to your learning. We can not cover it all in class
Period 1-4 you probably can skim a bit and read what you know you do not know and review anything you think you are shaky on. Remember, this is what you already learned in 9th Grade
Period 5&6 you will need to read more thoroughly as this is new material

Try not to procrastinate. Pay attention to the calendar so that you can try to keep pace with class #timemanagment
