Set up Children sleep in rooms of 4-6 in bunk beds.
We ask for a few names of children they’d like to share with and try to ensure they’re with at least one person they’ve requested. All rooms have en-suite shower facilities For activities, the children are split into 3 groups of 10 Each activity has a PGL instructor and member of Tregoze staff Our class will be assigned a PGL leader who helps ensure we have fun and sorts any problems Meals are taken in the canteen (with the exception of lunch on Day 1) Choice of options from hot counter and as much salad / bread as they like
5
Medical Care You will be asked to fill in a health form
Any medicines must be handed to a member of staff when you drop your child off. Staff will keep medicines and dispense them We will ask for permission to give paracetamol / ibuprofen where necessary Any sensitive medical or toileting needs will be dealt with in the strictest confidence All dietary requirements catered for

What to bring (we will provide a full kit list)
1 bag! Everything must fit inside one bag that your child can carry themselves! We may need to go up stairs. Old clothes – lots of them – outdoor activities take place whatever the weather. Long trousers – short shorts aren’t suitable for any of the activities where harnesses need to be worn. Jeans not suitable. Long sleeves needed for archery. Trainers – a pair for outdoor activities, an old pair of closed-toe shoes for lake activities (these will get wet!) and a pair of indoor shoes. Layers – the weather is changeable. Sleeping bag and pillow. Small book or quiet activity. The children don’t have much down-time but they may like something for the few quiet moments or before bed. £5 maximum pocket money – we will have 1 session in the shop. Small day-bag, water bottle, suncream Waterproof jacket (and trousers if you have) Washbag, nightwear, towel. Binbags for wet kit!
7
Please do not send… Sweets or snacks (they are well fed and can buy a limited supply of sweets at the tuck shop) Phones Electronic devices Anything of value
8
Behaviour Participation in PGL is subject to good behaviour throughout the year. The children MUST be able to listen and follow instructions, for their own safety. Should any child not behave appropriately at PGL, they will be sent home.
9
Why send your child? Amazing fun! Great team building
Encourages them to try new things Teaches resilience - many have faced fears and overcome challenges Encourages independence – good secondary school preparation They will have the time of their lives and return utterly exhausted!
