22. How to finance my education!
Register with on-line scholarship/awards search sites.
Check with parents’ employment /union, students’ employers and community organizations if you are involved (i.e. Boys and Girls Club,Church, cadets, scouts, guides….).
Announcements at HWHS (available on HWHS homepage , link to announcements on left ) and wall outside Guidance.
Scholarship, bursary and award opportunities are updated on a regular basis on the guidance website (info also available in binder located in guidance).

$100 to $1000
Most are sponsored by community groups such as the Freemasons, Lion’s Club, political parties, etc.
Different criteria: financial need, disability, post-secondary program or institution, where you live, political ridings, extra-curricular involvement.
