The American experience of legal education is very rich and it is highly valued in respect to teaching, research, development and so on. The school of law in USA began in the early of 1784s and the development of technology and educational methods that happened in the 21st century indeed impacted positively the American style of teaching in law schools as in other colleges. On the other hand, Saudi education system in law schools is considered to be very weak in term of that it depended heavily on Indoctrination and memorize of student. Even though there were many changes of laws and regulations in the country in the last decades as a result of changing social and economic aspects of life, study plans in law schools commonly are not changed and it is still adopt the same structure and kind of classes.

The Idea I
American legal education and teaching is different than Saudi Arabia where studying law is only allowed for higher education (JD – LL.M – SJD), the American education in general has many characteristics that are needed to be applied in Saudi law schools. In fact, there is a dearth of studies and books that discuss the development of Saudi legal education system by using the American education as a case study by looking into pros of this system. In addition, practicing law and the concept of law firms in USA are unique and there are less highlight over the American perspective for lawyers and training. Consequently, the author plans to publish a book the characteristic of American legal education, research, and law firms in USA
