Offered as a grade twelve course, TOK provides an opportunity for students to reflect on the nature of knowledge, gain awareness of their personal biases, and gain an appreciation for the diversity of perspectives in their own classroom and in society as a whole. Creativity, Action & Service: CAS is the heart of IB, emphasizing the importance of developing students who are reflective, willing to accept new challenges, aware of their responsibilities to their communities and the environment, and able to collaborate with others. Accumulation of CAS hours begins in the fall of grade 11.
