The national symbol of the USA appears on US money and government documents; The symbol shows a bald eagle with the beak a ribbon that says the Latin motto ‘E Pluribus Unum’ (Out of Many, One). The motto means that the USA is one country made up of many states, but also that many different nationalities formed one nation. In the paw left the eagle has an olive branch and in the other has 13 arrows. In front of the eagle there is a shield with 13 red and white stripes, and a blue bar above it. Above the eagle are rays, a circle of clouds, and 13 white stars.
