3. THE QUESTION: WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
The person who asks this question is lost – separated from God (Is. 59:1-2, Rom. 3:23, 6:23). What – terms, conditions to be met. Must – obligation, necessity. I – question is personal. Do – a verb, action To be saved – the desired end or aim. Saved = pardon or forgiveness of sins

4. The question is not: What must God do for one to be saved?
Jn. 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

5. The question is not:
What did Christ have to do before I could be saved?
Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

6. The question is not:
What part does the Holy Spirit play in an individual’s salvation?
