1 2 Introduction to GHSP Supplier Delivery Expectations
Discover, Align, Deliver. Worry Free.

2 Welcome to this presentation on GHSP Customer Delivery expectations – whether you are a new supplier or a long time supplier partner with GHSP we think you will find this information valuable in meeting customer delivery expectations. The presentation will cover: Supply chain portal / basic customer delivery requirements GHSP schedules Lead time Training and information resources.

3 GHSP North America uses a web based portal
GHSP North America uses a web based portal* to issue supplier releases and receive supplier ASN’s for shipped product. The basic requirements are as follows: Suppliers are required to access the portal to receive release requirements. Releases are updated weekly. GHSP requires that ASN’s are sent (via the supplier portal) for each shipment. ASN’s must have a unique ASN number that matches the pack slip / shipper / BOL for freight verification. ASN’s need to be sent within 30 minutes of shipment departure from your facility. It is the suppliers responsibility to inform GHSP if you are not able to fulfill a released order in its entirety. Receiving this communication as early as possible leads to more options to remedy the situation and can help to avoid costly expedites. Over shipments are generally not accepted and may be returned to you at your cost. * GHSP’s China locations do not use the portal. Releases are sent via weekly. Suppliers will submit ASN info via

4 Below is an example of a typical schedule release
Below is an example of a typical schedule release. They can be saved to your computer as a .PDF or .CSV file or you can simply view or print the document. In general these material releases contain the next required shipment quantity and a forecast.

5 Beyond the schedule, the release contains additional information that is important to recognize in order to support GHSP. Raw & Fab Authorizations – each release will contain a Raw / Fab authorization based on your agreement with GHSP. Unless otherwise negotiated the standard is 3 weeks of fab and an additional 2 weeks of raw materials for a total of 5 weeks. This is the only financial commitment on the part of GHSP for released material.

6 Lead time is often a source misunderstanding on GHSP schedule releases.
During launch or product change lead time is applied to allow for equipment changes, supply chain pipeline fill, etc. When the product enters full production GHSP does not recognize that time for the ongoing fulfillment of subsequent orders. Suppliers are expected to use GHSP forecast information to plan for future deliveries and utilize lean systems and tools such as buffer and safety stock and level scheduling to support GHSP operations. In other words each weekly release does not restart the clock on when an order needs to be fulfilled.
