What is the college’s profile of the entering class? Is it a Reach school? A Match? A Safety school? Check the college’s websites for specific admission requirements/deadlines ( i.e. scholarships, honor college, etc.) Last bullet- delete and add something more related to applying

20 Recommendations Counselor Recommendation Student & Parent Questionnaire /Brag Sheet Resume Give 3 weeks notice 2 Teacher Letters of Recommendation Junior year Teachers/Coaches/Employers At least 1 ‘Core’ teacher Initial request for recommendations in person…. NOT VIA Change to 3 weeks notice. Note we don’t work on the weekend and this business constitute M-F and clarify holiday breaks. Be sure to thank those providing recommendations for you. A lot of thought and care is taken when writing them

High School Resume: List of all academic and athletic honors and awards, community service, employment etc. Research financial aid and scholarships on the internet, Heritage webpage, colleges Create account on CommonApp.org and review application requirements Draft a personal statement Ask for recommendations letters See your counselor with any questions
