3 RELATIVE AND ABSOLUTELOCATION
Barbados is positioned between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, it s northeast of Venezuela and east of the Windward Island chain. RELATIVE LOCATION This Caribbean Island is between the western and northern hemisphere. It is located in the southeastern Caribbean, the island is bordered by the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean

4 MOVEMENT HOW ARE IMPORTS AND EXPORTS MOVED IN AND OUT OF BARBADOS?
Imports and exports are moved in and out of Barbados by plane and over sea. POPULATION TRENDS AND CHANGES IN WHERE PEOPLE ARE LOCATED The population trend has grew 0.366%. In Barbados there only use to live 3200 people now there is an estimate of where people live now. HOW ARE IDEAS MOVED FROM PERSON TO PERSON ? Ideas are moved from person to person by television, radio, postal, internet, and telephone.

5 PLACE LANDFORMS WEATHER/CLIMATE VEGETATION POPULATION RELIGION
Barbados is drained by a couple of small rivers. It rises in the hilly areas of the north and central. Rainfall irrigates Barbados through the series of small streams . WEATHER/CLIMATE June-November is the wet season and December-May is its dry season. The climate is influenced by northeast trade winds. There high temperature range is 75.2°F to 82.4°F VEGETATION There are many type of fruit trees in Barbados such as cherry, coconut, mango and guava trees. POPULATION There are 257,000 people that live in Barbados and the population increases every weak RELIGION There are 63.4% Protestant,28.3% Anglican,18.7% pentacostal,5.1% Methodist,4.2% Roman Catholic,7% Christian,16.1% other, and 20.6% none or unspecified. Most of them go to church every Sunday wearing there best clothes the gospel music goes through the windows and the people at their homes can hear. LANGUAGE/CULTURE The people in Barbados speak English and Bejan. It is a blend of British and West Africa culture .Bejan patois is an iconize part of the culture. English is still the official language, reflecting centuries of British rule.

6 REGIONS INDUSTRIAL/COMERCIAL
The sugar industry was developed not a main commercial enterprise, so Barbados was divided into large plantation estates. Now tourism, banking, and insurance make up the majority of Barbados economy RESIDENTIAL:URBAN, RURAL, AND NEIGHBORHOODS Barbados is separated into 11 different parishes. Each one of the different Parishes has its own flavor, and style, cities, and towns LANGUAGE/NATIONALITY In Barbados they mostly speak English and Bejan. There nationality is 93% African American, 3.2% Caucasian, 2.6%, Mixed, 1% East Indian and 0.2% other.

7 HUMANS AND ENVIROMENT HOW HAVE PEOPLE ADAPTED TO THE ENVIROMENT?
They used cons hells to make tools. Several thousand years later they became farmers, fishermen, and pottery makers. HOW HAVE PEOPLE MODIFIED THE ENVIROMENT? The people of Barbados started depending on education and labor relations which helped promote tourism. HOW DO PEOPLE DEPEND ON THE ENVIROMENT? They started using plantation such as tobacco, cotton, and sugar cane. As time went on because of the beautiful beaches and warm whether it started to attract tourist
