4. Training Information:
- After applying for a volunteer position, you will have to attend a few training sessions to start off your experience.
Purpose:
- Going to these classes will provide the volunteer the knowledge of the building and the animals.
Specifications:
- 1½ hours for Basic Training. 1½ hour for any advance training.
Types:
Basic – Explain the Idaho Humane Society and the facility.
Kennel – Specializing in handling canines in and out of the facility.
Cattery – Spec. in handling felines.
Foster – Specialize in fostering animals.
